Weather and river level Update

We just cant catch a break with the weather/wind/river level these past couple weeks. The forecast for Saturday the 5th is looking tough for being on the river. The river level will be high early in the day but continually drop throughout the day and night. This means sandbars will be more scarce and smaller. If you are going on an overnight Saturday you may have to share a sandbar with another group. Throughout the day we are going to have a strong headwind on the river. Steady winds of 15mph with gusts up to 30mph which makes paddling difficult. We have sent a wind advisory to all heading out on the water. Finally, we are expected to get some storms coming through our area Saturday night into Sunday. Strong winds and heavy rain are expected. All in all, if you have an overnight and would rather not be in these conditions, send us a text or email and we can refund or reschedule your trip. If you are feeling ambitious and really want to get out there make sure you come prepared for all inclement weather and read up on river and storm safety.
