It looks as if the forecast has changed slightly for this week with a little less forecasted rainfall. We still have scattered thunderstorms forecasted for Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday this week. With the heat wave that’s passing through, pop up storms are always possible (yay midwest weather!) The river is still expected to rise this weekend. As of now, the river will be high starting on Saturday and decrease throughout next week. The river level will depend on how much rainfall we get from these forecasted storms this week. Overnight trips for this weekend still look possible for now, but we will continue to update as forecasts change. If you plan on going on the river this weekend keep checking back for updates!
