Levels Dropping for the Weekend

The river is running at 10,634 cfs today. This is the upper end of normal, so while sandbars are definitely available, they are smaller than they will be in a few days. The drizzle today is mostly a deterrent for the fair-weather crowd; the river stays wet regardless.

The gauge is on a steady downward trend, projected to hit 5,600 cfs by Sunday. As that water drops, the sandbars are going to grow significantly. If you are planning a camping trip, the real estate is only getting better from here.

We have 124 boats available today and plenty of room for the weekend. We are in the peak of the season, but with the current weather and mid-week timing, you will have plenty of space to yourself. Keep an eye on the Sunday forecast for those potential afternoon thunderstorms.
