Prime Summer Levels and Friday Rain

The river is sitting at 4,311 cfs today. This is the classic summer sweet spot where navigation is easy and sandbars are everywhere. With light winds and highs in the 80s, today is about as good as it gets for a mid-week run. We still have nearly 100 boats available for today if you're looking to get out before the weather shifts.

Keep an eye on Friday. The forecast is calling for over an inch of rain tomorrow, which will likely soak anyone on the river. Saturday looks better but still carries some lingering rain, while Sunday and Monday appear to be the clear winners for the back half of the weekend.

If you are camping this weekend, expect some rain on the front end. The river levels are stable enough that the rain won't wash out the sandbars, but you'll definitely want a solid rain fly for Friday night.
