We are officially into the offseason and all of our rental gear is packed away. Even with the air hitting the 60s today, our operations are done until we restart in May. If you're looking for a shuttle or a canoe, you're about a month too late.
The river is currently flowing at 3,638 cfs, which is a classic summer level. Sandbars are massive and easy to find right now, though they're mostly just collecting fallen leaves and rain. It is a shame this water didn't show up in July when everyone was looking for it.
Private boaters can expect steady levels around 4,000 cfs through the weekend. The forecast is calling for drizzle and some wind, so it isn't exactly prime camping weather. If you head out on your own, remember that the water is much colder than the air and you're likely the only one on the move.
