Sandbars are High and Dry

The river is currently at 8,500 cfs and dropping toward 5,000 as we head into the weekend. This is the ideal summer band for camping. Navigation is straightforward and sandbars are everywhere, providing plenty of options for overnight trips or day stops.

We have some light rain moving through today, but the rest of the week looks like classic summer with temps in the low-to-mid 80s and light winds. The rain today is just a free rinse before the real heat kicks in tomorrow. Since the flow is trending downward, the sandbars are only going to get larger and better as the week progresses.

Utilization is currently around 50%, meaning we have about 60 boats left for today and solid availability for the weekend. With the water dropping and the sun coming out tomorrow, it is a good time to be on the water.
