 So what's the second-worst and third-worst things you can forget to bring on a canoe expedition of the Wisconsin River? Yup, I somehow forgot my paddles and PFDs at home (number one would be the boat). Desperate not to have to buy new ones just for the trip, the second place I stopped in the area was the Wisconsin Canoe Company.They set me right up with everything I needed within five minutes, and the price was extremely reasonable, especially considering I needed their equipment for three days. Very friendly staff, I was expecting at least a couple veiled critiques of my intelligence after a story like mine, but they were super-cool and professional. Thanks a ton! | What an awesome trip! The countryside was gorgeous and the river was perfect! Our shuttle driver instilled a lot of confidence in these four rookies! We rented a canoe and two kayaks and it was so easy to switch off whenever we felt the need. The equipment was in perfect shape and the reservation process was a breeze. Thanks for everything! | Your website is very comprehensive and does a great job of addressing questions and concerns first timers might have. We especially liked the humor sprinkled throughout. Calls we made for reservations and follow up questions were handled in a way that gave us even more confidence we were working with competent folks who cared about and enjoyed what they were doing.
