You'll check in at our Spring Green shop located at E5016 E Hwy 14 (but don't trust your GPS). We're inside Woody's Spirits and Sports next door to Subway and Century 21 near the intersection of Hwy 14, 23, and 60. From there, we'll shuttle a mile down the road to the Hwy 23 boat launch (Peck's Landing) where we'll leave your car and transfer everything upriver to the put in. The major benefit for most of our customers is that you are then free to cruise the river on your time. No pick up times have to be made, no waiting around for a ride, no late fees for not making it downriver if a big wind kicks up, and no cramming into a van with a bunch of other sunburned, sandy people when you just want to get home and get to a shower.
For those of you trying the downriver stretch this year, you'll still check in at our shop and we'll explain the rest there.
